Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine faculty member Dr. Mehmet Suat Yılmaz received the “most successful young researcher” award

The International Veterinary Surgery Congress, Turkey’s most rooted congress in the field of veterinary medicine, was held in Samsun, hosted by Ondokuz Mayıs University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Representing the TRNC with his oral and poster presentations at the 17th national and 3rd International Veterinary Surgery Congress, Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Department of Surgery faculty member Dr. Mehmet Suat Yılmaz was presented the “most successful young researcher” award for his doctoral thesis titled “Clinical and Radiographic Investigation of the Treatment of Humerus and Femur Fractures in Cats with Tie-in External Fixation”.

Prof. Dr. Deniz Seyrek İntaş: “I congratulate Dr. Mehmet Suat Yılmaz, our faculty member, who was deemed worthy of the most successful young researcher award.”
Stating that the International Veterinary Surgery Congress is one of the most prestigious congresses in the field of veterinary medicine in Turkey, Near East University Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Deniz Seyrek İntaş said, “As the first and only veterinary faculty of TRNC, we represent our country every year at this important congress.” Stating that as the Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, they continue to train the veterinarians of the future, on the other hand, they continue to train young academicians with the high-level opportunities they have. Prof. Dr. Seyrek İntaş said, “I congratulate Dr. Mehmet Suat Yılmaz, one of our faculty members, who was deemed worthy of the most successful young researcher award.”

Returning with the “Most Successful Young Researcher” award from the International Congress of Veterinary Surgery with his doctoral thesis, Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Faculty Member Dr. Mehmet Suat Yılmaz, on the other hand, emphasized that the Near East University provides all the possibilities that a researcher would need, with its fully equipped research laboratories, competent teachers in their fields and the application opportunities they have at the Animal Hospital. Expressing that the award he deserved motivated him by making him proud, Dr. Mehmet Suat Yılmaz said that it is a great honor to represent the TRNC at the International Congress of Veterinary Surgery.
