In addition to cats and dogs, the Department of Internal Medicine also performs diagnosis and treatments for gastrointestinal, dermatological, endocrinological, oncological, nephrological, neurological problems, as well as infectious – non-infectious diseases of the respiratory, heart and circulatory system of exotic reptiles, poultry and mammals, raptors and sea turtles. Furthermore, it creates general health control programs and routine vaccination and anti-parasitic drug programs that should be applied based on the age of pet animals. It interprets the laboratory analysis and organizes consultations with Practitioner Veterinarians.
