He was born in the Tera village of Paphos in 1963. He completed secondary school in Nicosia. In 1982, he started İstanbul Üniversity Veterinary Faculty and graduated in 1987 with the ‘first honor award’.

In 1993 he was started in Veterinary Department as a Veterinary Surgeon. He worked at all of the stages and finished the official mission in July 2022 with a Chief Veterinary Officer- Director.

In 1996 he started his doctorate education at İstanbul University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Zootechnics, and completed his ‘Doctoral degree’ in 2002.

In 2016, he started as a part-time lecturer at Near East University Faculty of VeterinaryMedicine Department of Zootechnics. On September 1st, 2022, he was appointed as the Director at the Near East Üniversity Animal Hospital. He is married and has two children. He speaks Greece and English.
